Autoslalom, also known as "Solo II" or "Autocross", is a low-cost "grassroots" motorsport discipline that allows almost anyone to enjoy the thrill of automotive competition in a safe, controlled, and legal environment. An Autoslalom event consists of competitors driving through a "race course" laid out using pylons on a large parking lot or other paved surface. Because the vehicles race independently of each other, at no time can there be contact with another competitor. This reduces the risks considerably, allowing the drivers to concentrate on threshold braking and precision cornering. Almost any driver can participate in almost any car, no matter the age, the make, the model, or the modifications that have been done to the vehicle. As long as your car meets certain safety standards, Autoslalom is right for you!

Requirements:

• Must bring a helmet (Snell 2000M or newer)
• Car should be empty of loose items which can act as projectiles
• No Passengers

Car Control Clinic:

The C.C.C. will take place throughout the morning period with full instructor interaction. Anyone interested in improving their driving skills and is registered for the Autoslalom Event can be part of this added bonus.
